The Freedom Flotilla was a relief convoy of six international ships (three cargo, three passenger) attempting to break Israel's illegal sea blockade of Gaza at the end of May.

The American mainstream media is the key to insuring the "Freedom Flotilla's" success. Without coverage from network television, network radio, and the mainstream print media in the United States, the Freedom Flotilla is completely at the mercy of the Israeli navy. For Israel only needs the continued cooperation of the American government--along with the approval of an uninformed American tax-paying public--to continue with its provocative nuclear program, the starvation of Gaza, and the overall absorption of Palestine.
